Educational Webinars

Our monthly educational webinar series entitled Fashion Ideas is for fashion companies and individuals in the business and it focuses on sustainability and business related topics. Our goal is to bring you up to the minute information about what is happening in the industry but also provide you with tools that will help your business grow and flourish.

How it Works: Webinars are online and you can join from any computer with a good internet connection. When you register you will receive a link in a separate email that will give you the ability to join. You can listen to the webinar through the speakers on your computer or you can use the call in telephone number that you will receive with the login details. If you decide to use the telephone be sure to enter your audio pin so you will have the ability to ask questions during the session. These are one hour sessions that will be recorded so if a person registers and is unable to attend they will get a copy emailed to them within 48 hours of the session ending.

What Happens when I join the Webinar? : Once you join the webinar you will be held in a queue until the webinar host lets everyone into the session. You will be able to see a presentation on your computer screen. Be sure to watch, the software lets us know if you’re not paying attention.  All participants are muted during the session. At a point in the webinar the host will take live questions from the people that are listening in. When the speaker recognizes you be ready to ask your question. You can also ask questions during the presentation in the chat window.

Registration options: The monthly webinars are made available for free to all Sustainable Fashion Designers members we offer 12 per year. The sessions are $20 for non-members. You also have the option to purchase a pass for 12 months of webinars even if you are not a member. The pass is (July-December) $100 that’s a $20 discount from purchasing monthly. The best value for joining the webinars in by becoming a member so, give it some thought. We would love to have you join us.
