Circle of Entrepreneurs

Sustainable Fashion Circle of Entrepreneurs

The goal of the sustainable fashion circle is to bring together entrepreneurs that are interested in creating social change and/or being more sustainable in their fashion businesses. Each session will cover hot topics, trends, or offer an educational opportunity to advance your business. We will also help a fellow participant resolve a business challenge that they are currently facing. Designers will submit their business challenges in advance and an entrepreneur will be selected to present at the circle.

The circle’s are traditionally held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month as follows:

New York: February, April, June, August, October, December
Philadelphia: January, March, May, July, September, November

The event is free with registration.

Interested in presenting at the circle? Submit your business challange we will notify selected presenters no later than 1 day prior to the meeting. Enter your business challenge when you register and here is how it works:

In the mastermind sessions, the selected participants will briefly describe their situation and answer follow-up questions from the group, who will then give their feedback. We have found this to be a very powerful way for the entire group to gain a wealth of practical ideas about how to manage the challenges of running a sustainable  enterprise. Please fill out the challenge question during registration in 500 words or less.  While you may not be able to provide all of the information requested in this space, please note that the more thorough and honest your information is, the more valuable the advice will be.

In selecting business challenges, we look for several key components: enterprises at various stages of growth, well-framed and articulated problem statements, and opportunities to draw larger lessons for the whole group. We ask you to focus on one major strategic challenge that you are currently facing.

Please observe the following categories for ideas about a current challenge you may have:

  • Sales and Marketing
  • Business Finance
  • Challanges in being Sustainable
  • Managing Organizational Growth
