SFD defines Sustainable Fashion as looking at the entire process of design and the supply chain to consider ways to improve fashion by conserving water, energy, eliminating the use of harmful chemicals, manufacturing through local production or fair trade production, using technological advancements, solving social problems through design and developing ways for a favorable use of garments after their wearable life cycle. Sustainable Fashion is fashion that is designed with the ability to conserve environmental resources and create opportunities for future generations.

Sustainable Designers provides educational programs related to sustainable fashion. We develop and lead various projects to promote social and environmental change and we are working to develop and promote leaders in the fashion industry.

The Sustainable Fashion Summit is the first International Conference to be held in the USA to focus on Sustainable Fashion Leaders and Innovators. We invite you to join us.
